Today is the sixth day of NaNoWriMo(National Novel Writing Month) and I am almost ready to start chapter three…. Except for one thing. I write about girls-first person, second person, third person-just fine. Chapter two was from a girls point of view, and now chapter three is from a guy’s point of view, and whenever I sit down to write anything involving males, I just sit there going “Ummm. uhhhh. Ummm. Uhhhh. “Drawing a complete blank. (I can write about male trees and vines just fine. It’s just something about humans. if we were all chickens or bushes or something, it would be easy to write from real life. Makes me wonder how I’ll do on next years NNWM story, about a chicken who somehow ends up on the Enterprise with the Next Generation crew.)
I’m done rambling about nanowrimo now… I’m just going to hyperventilate about open house tomorrow. I am reading aloud a excerpt from the story I’ve been writing for creative writing, and that should be okay, but I’m also performing Casting Crowns East to West in sign language, and there are several points where I fumble. For example, near the end of the song, the line changes from ‘Jesus, can You show me just how far the East is from the West’ to ‘Jesus You know just how far the East is from the West’, and about four out of every twelve times, I start doing the wrong signs! :barnie and then sometimes I start signing rest instead of me! :rant
As you can see, it’s very aggravating.
